Kenya 7s name Madigu, Billy in squad for Los Angeles and Vancouver 7s

Kenya 7s squad for the Los Angeles 7s and Vancouver 7s has been named ahead of the tournaments scheduled 25-26 February 2023 and 3-5 March 2023

Strathmore Leos’ talented playmaker, Brunson Madigu, has earned his spot on the team and is gearing up for his debut in the upcoming World 7s Series.

In addition, Billy Odhiambo and Daniel Taabu have returned to the squad after being absent during the previous trips to New Zealand and Australia.

Meanwhile, Brian Tanga and John Okoth have been selected for the team once again after making their first appearance earlier this season at the New Zealand 7s.

Nelson Oyoo will continue to lead the team as the captain, with Herman Humwa serving as his vice captain.

The remaining players who have retained their places in the team are Kevin Wekesa, Alvin Otieno, Dennis Abukuse, George Ooro, Tony Omondi, and Edmund Anya.

Kenya 7s are set to face Fiji, who are currently sitting in fifth place in the series standings, Australia and Japan in the LA 7s.
