Kenya 7s have booked a date against England in the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 Challenge Trophy Semis after seing off Scotland thanks to a 24-5 victory in a match played at DHL Stadium.
The match against England will kick off on Saturday at 18:59 East African Time with Shujaa hoping to repeat the Los Angeles feat where they picked back to back win against England and Scotland.
Shujaa had been eliminated from the cup contention following a 22-7 loss to Argentina on Friday while Scotland had lost to defending Champions New Zealand.
Kenya had a bright start in this match and they scored through Herman Humwa to lead 7-0 after Sammy Oliech’s conversion.

The red shirts extended the lead off a scrum with the ball being shifted to the left to find unmarked Billy Odhiambo for the second try of the match. Oliech’s conversion was off the mark and saw Kenya lead 12-0.
Vincent Onyala joined the scoresheet before halftime and Kenya went to the break leading 17-0.
In the second half, Nelson Oyoo sliced through the defence for a try that brought the scores to 24-0 after Oliech’s conversion.
Onyala had a brilliant try-saving tackle but the resultant scrum saw Kaleem Baretto score a for a 24-5.
