Kenya 7s fall to England in RWC 2022 Challenge Trophy Semis

Kenya 7s will face USA in the Rugby World Cup Sevens 2022 11/12th place playoff after losing 36-0 to England in a match played on Saturday.

The match against the Americans will start off at 7:20 AM East African Time. USA suffered a shocking defeat 21-19 loss to Uruguay.

Shujaa path

Shujaa had defeated Scotland in the quarters to qualify for this stage and were hoping to finish on a high. They however struggled to contain England who scored six tries for a big win.

England first points on the board came from Tom Mitchell first minute try which was converted for a 7-0 lead before Jamie Adamson added the second try for a 12-0 lead at the break.

Editor’s pick:

The second half turned worse with Shujaa conceding four more tries. Adamson got his second try of the day while Tom Mitchell  landed the fourth try for a 24-0.

Callum Randle  crossed over for the fifth try and Will Homer sealed their victory.
