Kabras RFC 7s Coach Max Adaka has included Kenya Simbas quartet in the squad that will play in the Kakamega 7s, which is the final event of the 2022 National Sevens Circuit.
Kenya Simbas playmaker Jone Kubu has been included in the squad alongside Derrick Ashihundu, Bryceson Adaka and Brian Tanga who were with the Simbas in France for the Rugby Africa Cup where the side finished second after losing 36-0 to Namibia.
Ashihundu’s first Sevens appearance
It will be Kubu and Tanga’s first sevens tournament since 2019. Adaka and Ashihundu are also set for their first sevens appearances for the club. Ashihundu who was the Western Bulls top scorer in 2019 will be hoping to do well in the tournament.
Kabras are in Pool D alongside Impala Saracens and Daystar Falcons. Kabras who managed their highest finish this season by attaining position five in the Prinsloo 7s will be eyeing their first-ever Cup semis this season.

Kabras are seventh with 47 points after five round of the National Sevens Circuit and will be hoping for a strong finish.
