NATIONAL SEVENS CIRCUIT

Meru change four for Prinsloo

Meru RFC Head coach Simon Ngugi has released his 13-man squad that will take part in the Prinsloo 7s Division to be held in Nakuru Athletics Club.

Ngugi has made four changes from the team that took part in Driftwood 7s. Part of the changes includes Nickson Ojambo who comes in for injured Steve Omondi as Mark Mwenda replaces Ian Kariuki.

Allan Amayo and Hassan Mwabrosh made the cut and are in line to make their debut for Meru. Junior Mwenda, tasked with the scrum-half role, will captain the side.

The squad also includes the likes of Moses Kibe, Ronny Marley, Herbert Otieno and Samwel Omae.

This will be the third national 7s circuit Meru are participating in having played in Kabeberi and Driftwoods 7s.

They are in pool F and will battle out with Mount Kenya University, Sigalagala Polytechnic and neighbours Embu RFC.
