Pools for the Commonwealth Rugby 7s games have been released with teams set to converge in Coventry from 29 July 2022 for a three-day battle for Gold at the Coventry stadium.

The tournament was originally scheduled to take place at Villa Park, but it will instead take place at the Coventry Stadium in Coventry.  16 teams will feature in the men’s tournament at the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

The 16 include the host nation and top nine nations in combined standings from the 2018–19 and 2019–20 World Rugby Sevens Series. The rest of the slots were reserved for regional qualification.
