Leopards include former Kabras centre in squad to face Kenya Simbas

Currie Cup First Division defending Champions Leopards have announced their matchday squad that will play Kenya Simbas in the Nairobi Series match set for RFUEA Grounds on Saturday.

Duren Hoffman, Poienaar van Niekerk and Quan Eymann form the back three with former Kabras centre Vuyo Mboto and captain Andries Truter set for the midfield partnership. Mboto played for Kabras RFC in the opening four matches in the 2021/22 Kenya Cup season.

Martin Venter will be the fly-half with Shirwin Cupido set to start at scrum-half.  Ruben du Plessis, Robey Leibrandt, and Joe Ngcem will lead the pack in the front row.

Marvelous Mashumbyi and Vince Maruping are the second rowers with Gustav Erlank, Brice Nteta, and HP Swart in the backrow.

They head to this off a 35-0 win over Zimbabwe Sables in the Currie Cup.
