Kenya Harlequin change six for Christie 7s

Kenya Harlequin Head Coach Paul Murunga has made six changes to his squad that will play in their home tournament Christie 7s on Saturday and Sunday.

Charlton Mokua,  Iddi Kakai, Cornelius Mokoro,  Lucky Dewald, George Owino and Sheldon Kahi will not be part of this weekend’s squad.

The coach has picked five debutants for the duty, they include the late Benjamin Ayimba’s son Gabriel Ayimba who has previously played for Kenya Under 20 7s team, Brian Mokua, Patrick Wainaina, Faren Juma and Moses Matonda.

Edward Shitanda has also been included in the squad. Dominic Osino continues as the captain and will be assisted by Felix Makokha.

They two have been retained together with John Mark Awiti, Brian Onyiengo and Charles Kinyanjui.

Quins who performed dismally last weekend will be keen to do well this weekend infront of the home crowd.

Pau’s charges have been pooled alongside defending Champions KCB Rugby, Nakuru RFC and Jumia Pay South Coast Pirates.
