CUEA Monks were crowned the 2026 Dala 7s Division Two champions after defeating Kabete Stallions Rugby 20-14 in the final on Sunday to secure an immediate return to Division One of the National Sevens Circuit.
Kabete Stallions made the brighter start, crossing over for a converted try to take an early 7-0 lead. CUEA Monks responded with two unanswered unconverted tries before adding two more unconverted scores to open up a decisive advantage.
Stallions managed another converted try late in the match, but it was not enough to prevent the Monks from sealing a 20-14 victory.

The triumph marks a swift return to the top tier for CUEA Monks, who had been relegated to Division Two following the opening leg of the 2026 National Sevens Circuit, the Prinsloo 7s.
Their title-winning campaign in Kisumu now secures promotion back to Division One ahead of the next leg of the circuit-Kabeberi 7s.
