Kabras Sugar RFC will face Menengai Oilers in the men’s Cup final of the 2026 Dala 7s from 5:00 pm after both sides won their respective semi-finals on Sunday at the Jomo Kenyatta International Stadium in Mamboleo, Kisumu.
Kabras ended Kenya Harlequins’ impressive run with a 19-10 victory in the first semi-final to book their place in the title decider. Michael Lukusi gave the sugar millers an early lead before Rayvone Ambale added a converted try to stretch the advantage to 12-0.
Kenya Harlequins pulled one back through Ramadhan Masete, but Patrick Wainaina missed the conversion as Kabras carried a 12-5 lead into the break. Ambale then crossed over for his second try of the match, with Eric Cantona adding the extras to extend Kabras’ lead to 19-5.
Davis Otundo scored a late consolation try for Quins, but Simon Ochieng was unable to convert as Kabras sealed a deserved victory.

In the second semi-final, Menengai Oilers defeated Mwamba RFC 22-5 to set up the final against Kabras. Mwamba made the brighter start after Lucky Onyango Byron was sent to the sin bin, with Jerome Mukaisi touching down for the opening try, although Dennis Ndayala missed the conversion.
The Oilers responded immediately through Glacious Owino, who converted his own try to hand his side a 7-5 lead before adding a second try just before the break to make it 12-5. Paul Mutsami crossed over in the second half before Alvin Khavoli added another try as Menengai completed a convincing 22-5 victory.
