Mwamba RFC reveal squad for do or die KRU Championship semi against Catholic Monks

Mwamba Rugby Club have unveiled their matchday squad ahead of fixture against Catholic Monks, set to take place on April 18 2026 at the Goan Institute Grounds.
Kick-off is scheduled for 3:00 PM, Mwamba have named a starting XV, blending experience and youthful energy across the squad.
Jerry Okoth leads the lineup at prop, while Bruce Shiemi and Kevin Juma feature prominently in the front row. The pack is further strengthened by Christopher Asira, Roxy Suchi in the second row.
Humphrey Wambui, with Aldrine Andaje and Douglas Opani completing a formidable forward unit.  In the backs, Charles Chege takes charge at scrum-half, partnering with Charles Kuka in the half-back pairing.
The attacking line sees Shaquel Bosire and Eugene Odhiambo are on the wings. Edwin Watulo and Brian Mutugi are the centres with Dennis Ndayala slotting in at full back to complete the starting XV.
The bench has Brian Kahura, Joseph Gitoi, Ian Wamalwa, and George Omolla among the key replacements. Amon Bwambok, Alex Muyela, Gideon Makumi, and Sabala Tendwa round off the matchday 23, ready to make an impact if called upon.
All eyes will be on Mwamba as they look to capitalize on home advantage and deliver a strong performance against a determined Monks with Kenya Cup slot in the sight.
