Homeboyz confirm squad for JKUAT Cougars in KRU Championship semis

Homeboyz Rugby have named their matchday squad ahead of their clash against JKUAT Cougars set for Saturday, 18 April at the JKUAT Grounds.

Leading the side is lock Peter Mbaya, who captains the team, while Sospeter Yoga takes up the vice-captaincy role from scrum-half.

The forward pack has Collins Otieno anchoring the back row alongside Stanley Nyatiende and Philbert Mwanzo.

In the front row, Robert Macharia, Emmanuel Kioko, and Ezekiel Owiti will be tasked with setting the platform, while Massud Athman partners Mbaya in the second row.

The backline sees Emmanuel Mbaka pulling the strings at fly-half, with Sospeter Yoga linking play from the base. The midfield pairing of George Owino and Godfrey Kisero offers both defensive solidity and attacking threat, while Bryan Juma and Nicholas Kiprop provide width on the wings. Gascoigne Muganzi slots in at fullback.

The bench provides depth, with the Lutomia duo David and Kevin alongside Charles Njue and Obed Aberi offering options upfront.

Protus Nanga, Winston Ngulu, Patrick Mwakina, and Samuel Baraka complete the matchday 23.
