Kenya Lionesses head coach Simon Odongo has made a few changes to his squad ahead of the second and third legs of the 2026 World SVNS 2 set to be held in Montevideo and São Paulo later this month.
Odongo has retained the core of the squad that represented Kenya women’s national rugby sevens team during the opening leg in Nairobi but has made notable additions and omissions as the side looks to finish the series strongly.
Among the key changes is the return of experienced Judith Auma, who comes back into the squad after missing the Nairobi leg following a long term injury. Faith Livoi also earns a call-up after sitting out the home tournament.

Regular squad members such as Naomi Amuguni, Moreen Muritu, Sheila Chajira, Edith Nariaka, Janet Okello, Freshia Oduor have retained their places in the travelling team. However, Grace Okulu, Phoebe Akinyi, who were part of the squad that featured in Nairobi, miss out on the travelling side.
The Lionesses will be hoping to build on their performance from the Nairobi leg as they continue their push for a top-four finish that would secure qualification to the SVNS World Championship playoffs.
