Holders and five-time champions Kabras Sugar RFC will headline the 2025/2026 Enterprise Cup in-country quarterfinals when they face Kenya Harlequin FC on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

The clash will kick off at 4:00 PM at the ASK Showground in Kakamega, as the Enterprise Cup reaches a decisive stage under its revamped competition format.

Enterprise Cup qualification

Kabras booked their place in the last eight after receiving a walkover against Impala RFC in the Round of 16. Harlequin, on the other hand, were among the few sides to progress through a fully contested fixture, dispatching Catholic Monks 29–5 to secure their quarterfinal berth.

Elsewhere, attention will shift to the ASK Showground in Nakuru, where Menengai Oilers take on Nakuru RFC in an all-Nakuru derby encounter.

Oilers advanced following a 28–0 walkover victory over MMUST, while Nakuru RFC also benefited from a walkover against South Coast Pirates to seal their place in the quarterfinals. With local pride at stake, the derby promises to deliver one of the day’s most intense contests.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

In Nairobi, Nondies RFC will host Strathmore Leos at Ngong Racecourse, with kickoff scheduled for 4:00 PM. Nondies progressed after a walkover against Kisumu RFC, while Strathmore Leos impressed in the Round of 16, coming from behind to defeat Zetech Oaks 32–17 at the Strathmore Complex.

The final quarterfinal will see KCB Rugby welcome KU Blak Blad at the KCB Sports Club in Ruaraka in Thika Road Derby.

KCB advanced courtesy of a walkover against Daystar University, while Blak Blad also reached the last eight without taking to the field after receiving a walkover against Mwamba RFC.

The Round of 16 was largely shaped by walkovers, with several Kenya Cup sides progressing without competitive fixtures, a factor that has influenced preparations heading into the quarterfinals.

This season’s Enterprise Cup is being contested under a new format, with the four Kenyan teams emerging from the in-country quarterfinals set to face four Ugandan sides in cross-country quarterfinals.

The winners from those encounters will advance to the semi-finals scheduled for March 21 and April 11, before the competition culminates in the Enterprise Cup final on May 23, 2026.
