Kisumu RFC include two debutantes for Daystar Falcons clash

Kisumu RFC have named their squad for the upcoming Kenya Cup match against Daystar with Coach Howard Okwemba combining experienced players with promising talent in a squad aimed at securing their first crucial points away from home in Athi River.

Felix Omondi starts at loosehead prop, Christopher Otieno captains the side at hooker, and Moses Amonde anchors the scrum at tighthead prop. The second row is made up of Brian David Otieno and Barry Opondo , tasked with lineout control.

The back row consists of Robert Awich at blindside flanker, Elvince Odhiambo at openside flanker, and Bonface Orwa at number eight,

Walter Ambe retains the number 9 jersey as scrum-half. Godfrey Namai slots at fly-half, orchestrating attacks and tactical plays.

The centre partnership features Anthony Owino at inside centre and Derrick Ochieng at outside centre. Byron Orimbo and Walter Alko start on the wings, providing pace, finishing ability, and defensive coverage.

Washington Ochieng starts at fullback, handling counter-attacks and joining the line in attack. U20 prospect Innocent Murunda earns his first-team call-up alongside new signing Edmond Angonya.   Hillary Ouma, Kassim Hamza, Bravin Onyango, Robert Murunga, Victor Wawire, Lenrick Obiero, provide options for Coach Okwemba to maintain intensity and adapt to the flow of the game.
