Africa champions Namibia are set to play against the Blue Bulls and Portugal in preparation for the 2024 Rugby Africa Cup, which will be held in Uganda.
The first match is scheduled for June 29, 2024, at the Hage Geingob Stadium, where Namibia’s team, the Welwitschias, will take on the Blue Bulls.
On July 13, 2024, Namibia will face Portugal at the same venue. This match will be the final warm-up for Namibia before the Rugby Africa Cup and features teams that competed in the 2023 Rugby World Cup.
Namibia’s preps
Namibia have already begun their preparations for these crucial matches as they gear up for the July International window.

The Rugby Africa Cup will kick off on July 20 at the Mandela National Stadium in Nambole, Kampala. In the first quarterfinal, Namibia will face Burkina Faso. Meanwhile, Kenya Simbas are set to face Senegal in the second quarterfinal.
Other quarterfinal matchups include Algeria taking on Ivory Coast, and Zimbabwe Sables paired with Uganda.
The winner of the Kenya Simbas-Senegal match will advance to the semifinals, where they will play against the winner of the Algeria-Ivory Coast quarterfinal on Wednesday, July 24.
