Ayimba starts for Strathmore Leos as Ooro drops to bench ahead of Mwamba date

Louis Kisia, the Strathmore Leos head coach has named his side that will be facing off with Mwamba RFC at the Strathmore Grounds on Saturday.

Leos who are on a poor stint will be seeking to bounce back to winning ways having only won the opening two matches in the 2023/24 campaign.

In the front row, Ian Masheti keeps the loose head prop with Bramwel Aenekea getting his second consecutive start on the tight head prop. Dennis Tubei is the hooker.

John Aswani and co-captain Jude Baraka will be second row. Gabriel Ayimba comes in at the blind side flank with Joseph Otieno being the open side flanker. The number eight is Dennis Mbila.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

Brian Mwendwa will maintain his role at the scrumhalf. Co-captain Nygel Amaitsa is the fly half. The wings have Richard Liva on the left and Victor Odhiambo on the right. The midfield has the partnership of Shem Okola and Elton Amalemba continuing as inside and outside centres respectively.

The fullback is Collins Maina coming in for Matoka Matoka.
