Kenya Harlequin extended their lead further after landing a penalty try. The penalty try saw Nakuru reduced to 14 men as Nakuru’s tight-head prop was yellow carded for repeated infringements at scrum time as the game went for the halftime break.
In the second stanza, the game remained scoreless as both sides struggled to deal with the wet ball and slippery ground. Nakuru looked threatening in the second 40 but they just couldn’t convert their chances. The resultant pressure would see Kenya Harlequin lock sent to the bin for an infringement.
Kenya Harlequin would hold on to win their fifth game of the season.
