KCB, Nakuru and Blad off to flying starts in Great Rift 10 aside

KCB Rugby, Nakuru RFC, Mean Machine, and Blak Blad all enjoyed successful opening matches in the 30TH Edition of the Great Rift 10 Aside at Nakuru Athletic club.

In an impressive display, KCB Rugby dominated their match against the Technical University of Kenya, securing a resounding 51-0 victory. Fidel Maina, Trevor Odawa and Geoffrey Okwatch stood out, each contributing two tries to the team’s remarkable win.

Their stellar performance propelled them alongside Nakuru RFC, who also started strong by defeating Kabarak 36-0 in their opening match.

Blak Blad proved their mettle as well, triumphing over Kabarak with a convincing scoreline of 29-7. Meanwhile, Mean Machine beat TUK with a final score of 26-7.

Several Kenya Cup clubs chose to skip the event, opting to make their return during the National Sevens Circuit, Their absence however opens up opportunities for emerging talents to shine and make their mark in the competition.

As the day progresses, fans eagerly anticipate the highlight of the event when the Kenya Simbas take on the Zimbabwe Goshawks at 4:00 PM at the venue
