Pools for the 2023 London 7s competition have been announced ahead of the event set for Twickenham this coming weekend 20 and 21 May.
2024 Playoffs pool consists of teams battling for survival. They include Uruguay who are seeded top after finishing 12th in the 10 rounds of the 2023 Series, Kenya 7s who finished 13th, Canada and Challenger Series winners Tonga.
Being the Sevens Series 2024 Play-off group, teams will first face off on a round-robin format where the top two ranked teams will meet in a winners-takes-all match to decide who will be the 12th and final core team next season.
Pool A has Series Champions New Zealand and they will play against South Africa, Great Britain and USA.
Pool B consists of Argentina, Ireland, Fiji and relegated Japan. The final pool has France, Australia, Spain and Samoa.
