Kisii 7s tournament semi-finals have been confirmed ahead of the afternoon session set for Gusii Stadium.
Kisumu showed some great form as they secured a 22-7 victory against Kibabii to reach the semis. Meanwhile, Nairobi Boys put in a performance, defeating Kisii RFC 19-5.
Rugby on Road dominance in Kisii 7s
Rugby on the Road continued their fine form in the competition with a comprehensive 29-0 victory over Kifaru to reach the last four. MMUST were also in great form as they secured a convincing 37-0 win over Kisii University in the final quarterfinal.
As we move to the semi-finals, the competition is set to reach fever pitch. In the Plate semis, Kibabii will face off against Kisii RFC, while Kifaru will take on Kisii University. Both matches promise to be closely contested, as the teams battle it out for a place in the Plate final.
In the Cup semis, Kisumu RFC will go head to head against Nairobi Boys, while Rugby on the Road will take on MMUST in what is set to be a thrilling encounter. Rugby on the Road will be looking to continue their winning run in the competition, but MMUST, who have already won two tournaments, will be keen to claim their third title.
The afternoon session of the Kisii 7s Cup is set to be a cracker, and entry to the Gusii Stadium is only 100 shillings. Rugby fans are in for a treat, as the teams battle it out for supremacy on the rugby pitch.
