After an intense day of rugby at the Singapore 7s, the quarter-final match-ups have been confirmed.
Kenya 7s will take will on Canada in the ninth place quarters after failing to qualify for the quarterfinal for the ninth time in a row this season.
In the other ninth place quarter-final matches, Japan will face off with Hong Kong while the USA will face off against Spain. South Africa will take on Ireland in the final ninth place match.
Singapore 7s Cup quarters
Samoa, who topped Pool B, will face off against Uruguay in the first Cup quarter-final.
Argentina, who secured three consecutive wins in Pool D, finished with nine points and have booked a date against World 7s Series defending champions Australia in the second Cup quarter-final.
In the third quarter-final, France, who emerged as the winners of Pool C, will go up against Fiji, who finished as runners up in Pool B.
Meanwhile, Hong Kong Champions and Series winners New Zealand had a dominant run in Pool A and have secured a spot in the quarter-finals.
They will face off against Great Britain in what is expected to be a highly anticipated match-up between two rugby powerhouses.
