KCB Rugby duo Kizito, Omondi earn World Rugby Level II accreditation

KCB Rugby players Oliver Mang’eni Kizito and Brian Omondi have attained World Rugby Level II coaching certificates in rugby 15s coaching.

Additionally, David Weru has earned a level two coaching certification in rugby 7s. The Kenya Rugby Union congratulated the three individuals on their accomplishments in a statement.

“Congratulations to Oliver Kizito, Brian Hobson Omondi and David Weru on attaining their World Rugby Level 2 coaching accreditation in 15s and 7s,” reads the Union statement.

Mang’eni and Omondi have been members of the coaching staff for KCB rugby this season, with Mang’eni serving as the line-out coach and Omondi as the defence coach.

During their time as members of the playing unit, the bankers won multiple titles, including back-to-back Kenya Cup titles from 2017 to 2021.

Meanwhile, Weru works as a regional development officer for the Nairobi Metropolitan region.
