Jomo Kenyatta edge Utumishi in sudden death to win Nakuru County 15s

Jomo Kenyatta Boys clinched the Nakuru County 15s title after a dramatic 6-3 sudden death victory over Utumishi Academy in the final played on Saturday.

With both teams tied at 3-3 in regular time, Jomo Kenyatta scored a crucial three-pointer in the sudden death period to secure their place in the Rift Valley Region 15s tournament to be held in Eldoret.

In the semi-finals, Jomo Kenyatta had a convincing 34-0 victory over Moi Secondary, while Utumishi Academy secured a 15-13 win over Nakuru Boys to reach the final.

Both teams had impressive performances in the group stage matches, with Jomo Kenyatta beating Muchorwe Secondary 53-0, Nakuru Boys 13-0, and Naivasha boys 24-0. Utumishi Academy, on the other hand, secured a 43-0 victory over Njoro Township before defeating Molo Academy 22-0.
