Western Region Nationwide final standings and semi-finalists confirmed

The semi-finalists for the Western Region Nationwide season have been confirmed ahead of the knock out stage.

In zone A, Sigalagala Polytechnic, the Western Region Champions, finished at the top of the standings with 27 points, winning all six of their matches. Kibabii University finished second with 24 points after winning five of their games, and they will join Sigalagala in the last four.

Shamberere, a debutant in the league, finished third in zone A with 20 points, having won four of their six matches.

Borderrucks came fourth with 15 points, while Webuye finished in fifth place with 10 points. Vihiga Granites managed to win just one match, earning five points, while Bungoma failed to win any of their matches.

In zone B, Kisii RFC, a former KRU Championship and Kenya Cup side, finished at the top of the standings with 28 points, having won all six of their matches.

Maseno University finished second with 26 points, also winning five of their matches, and they will join Kisii RFC in the semi-finals.

Citam Kisumu finished in third place in zone B with 16 points, while Siaya bagged 12 points to finish in fourth place. Rongo got 11 points to come in fifth, and Jaramogi University finished with just one point.
