Mwamba name Oppal, Agevi in squad for Strathmore Leos match

Mwamba Rugby Club coach Kepha Ndonji has named his squad that will face off with Strathmore Leos in a Kenya Cup encounter at Madaraka Grounds on Saturday 7 January.

Former Strathmore Leos fly-half Lucas Oppal will don the black jersey and will come against his former employers Leos. He will partner with Charles Chege who has been named at scrum-half.

After a length absence, Michael Agevi is back in the squad and has been paired with Joel Inzuga in the midfield.  Michael Ochieng will play at fullback and will be supported by wingers Chrispin Omondi and Brian Kivasia.

In the pack,  its Gideon Mbithi who starts at number eight and will have Eliakim Kichoi and Collins Odhiambo flanking him in the scrum.

Chris Asira is set to partner with Mike Okello in the second row as Paul Opiyo, Brian Kahura and Kevin Juma lead the front row.

Kulabu are placed fourth on the Kenya Cup standings and will be keen to upset their former coach Louis Kisia to keep the hope of  playing in the semis alive.
