Varsity League final standings after group stage matches

The Varsity League Group stage matches ended on Saturday with Egerton, TUM Marines and Kisii University achieving a 100% win record.

UoE Trojans topped pool A with 12 points following two wins and a draw. The Eldoret based University managed two bonus point wins in the group as they went on an unbeaten run in the group.

They are joined in the quarters by Catholic University who picked six points in the pool following a win a draw and a loss.

Maseno University and TUK Mustangs got five points each in the pool and sit in positions three and four.

Egerton Wasps won Pool B after picking maximum points in each of their wins in the group stage.

With 15 points, they proceed to the quarters together with JKUAT cougars who bagged two bonus point wins in the group stage.

DEKUT managed five points as KCA failed to grab a single point.

TUM marines had 14 points that saw them top Pool C. It was after bagging three wins in their pool.

UoN finished second in Pool C to also proceed to last eight with nine points.

Meru University and Kabarak University finished third and fourth with five and zero points respectively.

In the final pool, Kisii University finished top with 15 points while Moi University were second with 10 points.

Cooperative University and MMU occupy the bottom two slots.

The quarterfinal matches will be played next weekend.
