The Rugby Africa Cup 15S semi-final pairings have been known after the completion of the Cup quarterfinal matches played on Friday and Saturday.

The teams will have three days to recover and prepare for the semi-final, which will determine who advances to the final of the competition which is serving as Africa’s qualification route to the 2023 Rugby World Cup.

Kenya Simbas will face Algeria in the first quarterfinal on Wednesday 6 June at 19:00 hours East African time at Stade Delort, Marseille.

Simbas scored six converted tries and defeated Uganda Cranes 42-7 in the quarterfinals to qualify for the final four. John Okoth scored twice, while Bethuel Anami, Samuel Asati, Teddy Akala, and Thomas Okeyo each had one try. Darwin Mukidza converted five tries and Jone Kubu added one in the victory.

Namibia will face Zimbabwe Sables in a 2200 hours (EAT) semi-final at Stade Maurice David in Aix-en-Provence. Namibia advanced to the semis after defeating Burkina Faso 71-5.

The Sables proceeded to the last four after defeating Ivory Coast 38-11 in Marseille’s second quarter-final. The winning semi-finalists will go to the final, which is scheduled for Sunday.
