Kenya U20 Rugby (Chipu) head coach Simon Jawichre has released his squad for the upcoming clash against Namibia in the Barthes Trophy opening match, scheduled to take place in Zimbabwe on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. EAT.
In the front row, Kabras forward Darrel Oluoch and Daystar Falcons’ Geylord Ngasi will join hooker Bramwel Anekea to form a formidable unit.
Kenya U20 locks
Eugene Etale will partner with Andycole Omollo, a consistent performer for KCB Rugby throughout the Kenya Cup season.
The back row will see MMUST forward Edmond Omondi leading the team as captain and taking on the blindside role, with Nathan Tsindoli on the open side and Iddo Kuta at number eight.
At half-back, Kenya Harlequin’s Patrick Wainaina will start as scrum-half, while Kabras RFC playmaker Jackson Siketa will take the fly-half position.

Michael Wamalwa, who served as last year’s captain and made a notable impression during his debut season with KCB, will occupy the inside centre position alongside Western Bulls centre Daniel Kipchirchir.
Alvin Khavoli from Menengai Oilers and James Olela from Kabras have been entrusted with the back three duties, alongside Eugene Odhiambo.
On the bench, Nakuru RFC’s Philip Okeyo and Faran Juma are expected to provide valuable support and impact when called upon.
