Former Kenya Simbas backrower Edwin Machanje who is famously known as Pablo has been named in Mwamba RFC’ s technical bench as the forwards coach.
Pablo in his playing days turned out for Mwamba RFC and in the latest clubs statement which came a day before the kick off 2023/2024 season, he will take up a coaching role.
The club also confirmed that Joseph Baabu and Peter Kepher will be ones in charge of leading the ESS team. They will be working closely with the senior coaching staff.

“Joining the Technical Bench is Edwin ‘Pablo’ Machanje, who will take on the role of forwards coach. Excitingly, Joseph Baabu and Peter Kepher will serve as ESS coaches, working hand in hand with the coaching staff to develop our players’ skills and abilities,” Mwamba announced.

Joyce Odhiambo will be the team manager and she is tasked with ensuring the welfare of both the women’s and men’s teams.
Kenya 7s head coach Kevin ‘Bling’ Wambua will remain the head coach despite the national team role. Kenya 7s ace, Collins Injera continue serving as his assistant having joined the bench after retirement.
