Kenyan rugby coaches, Godffrey Otieno and Stephen Oneal have successfully attained their World Rugby Level 2 (15s) coaching accreditation, further strengthening Kenya’s pool of qualified rugby coaches.

The two follow Lee Arstone from Kisii RFC, who also achieved his accreditation on May 6, 2025.

The Level 2 certification is awarded to coaches who demonstrate advanced skills in player development, tactical planning, and game management within the 15-a-side format.

Oneal and Otieno’s achievements marks another important step towards improving the quality and depth of rugby coaching in Kenya.
