Sigalagala Pirates, Project 61, Zetech Oaks are in the Nationwide semi-finals joining the TUM Marines who were awarded a walk over by Shamberere Institute Vikings.
Newly established Project 61 are still unbeaten as they secure a narrow 12-10 comeback win over the AP Warriors to secure their semi final spot.
The guests AP Warriors were first to strike and managed two unconverted tries in the early minutes of the game. The hosts, determined to win at home, managed two tries which saw one being successfully converted.
The win was sealed courtesy of Basil Simiyu’s try which was converted by Daniel Onyango and Daniel Andaye’s widely converted try.
Sigalagala Pirates managed to protect their home pride after securing a strong 22-06 win over guests Makueni RFC. The dominance of the hosts saw them manage four tries with one being successfully converted.

Brill Esikuri saw himself on the score sheet with a brace and a conversion alongside Basil Okoth and Elvis Nguyagwe who managed unconverted tries each. The guests managed two successful penalty kicks but they were not enough against the four tries as the match ended 22-06.
Zetech Oaks also kept their hope alive as thet came from behind to lead 11-6 at halftime at JKUAT Grounds following a try and two converted penalties to cancel Kisii’s penalty and drop goal. In the second half, Kisii landed their first try that tied the scores before Zetech also responded with a try to lead 16-11.
Kisii cut the gap to to a point with a penalty in 71st minute for a tense ending. Zetech had a sigh of relief three minutes as they grabbed a penalty for a 19-14 lead and held on to win.
