The Nyanza Region Schools 15s pools have been released ahead of the games which are slated to kick off from 19th to 23rd of March in Kisumu at the Kisumu polytechnic.

In pool A, we have the current defending champions, Kisii school who will be beginning their quest for another title from that pool.

They are pooled alongside the runners up of Kisumu county Nyabondo high school who come on the basis of hosting rights. The two will meet again after meeting last year in pools with the match having a slim margin.

Another team that is drawn in the pool is Anjengo boys. Anjengo who will be in the regionals for the first time will be seeking for an upset as they fight with the big boys.

Agoro Sare who are the Homabay champions are another team in the pool and will be out to impress after failing to show up in the regionals for the longer version of the game for a while now.

EDITOR’S PICKS:

This is a pool considered to be the pool of death as it has all the big two names from the region. Once again Yala and Maseno will be renewing their rivalry as they face off with each other.

This will be a repeat of last year’s regionals game where Maseno emerged to be victorious in the game.

Kisii county runners up Cardinal Otunga Mosocho who were once champions in the shorter version will also be part of the pool and will be seeking to compete with the big dogs.

Gekano high school from Nyamira county are the last school in the pool.
