Former Menengai Oilers forward Persian Kolian has earned a starting berth for KCB Rugby ahead of their match against Nakuru RFC slated for Nakuru Athletic Club on Saturday 3:00 pm.

Kolian starts at number eight as Rocky Aguko who played his first ever Kenya Cup match after a lengthy layoff paving the way. Kolian will partner with Elvis Olukusi and  Peter Waitere who have retained their slots in the back row.

Youngster Andycole Omollo has retained his slot in the second row and with Davis Chenge out, he is set to renew his partnership with Emmanuel Silungi.  The front row is unchanged with Nick Okullo, Griffin Musila and Wilhite Mususi starting together.

Emmanuel Opondo has been preferred at scrum-half for the third match in a row this season while Brian Wahinya continues at 10.  In the midfield,  Bob Muhati drops out, Peter Kilonzo shifts to inside centre as Kenya 7s and the club’s 7s captain Vincent Onyala assumes the outside centre role.

The Back three is untouched with  Austin Sikutwa, Geoffrey Okwatch and Darwin Mukidza starting together. Kenya 7s duo Samuel Asati and Festus shiasi are on the bench alongside experienced Martin Owillah and former Homeboyz duo Thomas Okidia and Patrick Ouko.

The Bankers have been impressive in their opening five matches and will be keen to extend their dominance over Nakuru RFC.
