KCB Rugby change 4 for Homeboyz date

KCB Rugby have announced their squad to battle out with Homeboyz in the Kenya Cup’s last match of the year making four changes to the squad for the match that will be played at the Ruaraka grounds on Saturday 16 December 2023 at 3:00 pm.

The loosehead prop is Nick Okulo earning his first start of the season and he comes in for TJ Okidia who drops to the bench in the first change.  The tight head prop is Wilhite Mususi. They are joined in the front row by hooker Griffin Musila who is also the Captain.

KCB Rugby unchanged locks 

The Second row remains unchanged where it has Locks Emmanuel Silungi and Andycole Omollo start together.  The blindside flanker is Elvis Olukusi while the Open side flanker is Steven Wamai who replaces Felix Ojoo. Peter Waitere remains at number 8.

At the Scrumhalf position, Samuel Asati comes in for Michael Wanjala while Brian Wahinya stays as the fly-half. Bob Muhati is the inside centre while the outside centre is Vincent Onyala.

On the left wing, there is Festus Shiasi while Michael Kimwele is on the right wing.  Elphas Adunga is the fullback and replacing Lionel Ajelti.

Bench replacements feature Wilfred Waswa,T J Okidia,Nelson Nyandat,Davis Chenge,Felix Ojoo,Michael Wanjala,Shaban Ahmed, Austin Sikutwa.

Darwin Mukidza is to start on the bench against the Homeboyz rugby in the ESS  as he returns from injury.

The squad which will be captained by Jack Adero, the outside prop, will see Martin Owilla starting as the Eighth man, Manasseh Oduor and Kolian Persian as Flankers, Edwin Otieno and Winston Macharia as second row and Fidel Maina and Geoffrey Otieno joining Adero as front row props.

Kenya International Geoffrey Okwatch will play alongside William Opaka and Levy Amunga as back three under the Charge of Emmanuel Opondo and Smith Muhoya as the half-backs with Billy Omondi and Esau Otieno as Centers
