Kenya Cup side Blak Blad RFC have announced their captains ahead of the new campaign scheduled to start on November 25 2023.
Backrower Kuke Ernest Obat has been handed the captaincy role replacing Ian Obukwa who led the club in the previous seasons.
Kuke will be assisted by two vice-captains who are Claude Kennedy Nyamiro and winger Shuaib Saleh Wesonga. The captains are tasked with elevating the team to greater heights in the Kenya Cup with the club targeting to better last season’s performance.

Blak Blad are scheduled to kickstart the 2023/2024 Kenya Cup season away by playing against Mwamba RFC on Saturday 25th November 2023 as they aim to perform better than last season where they finished fifth with 32 points and with an inferior points differential of -34 having scored 218 points and conceded 252.
