Kenya Rugby League Women’s squad named ahead of Uganda Test

The Kenya Rugby League head coach Antonio Lombardo has revealed a list of 48 ladies who will train in the first-ever women’s National team.

The team is scheduled to play a series of tests against Uganda in December.

The full-backs are Faith Ochieng(AP),Kerina Omala(Ruffians)
Kerina Omala (Ruffians) Anne Nyamnake (Wolves)
and Prisca Ombaka (Sharks).

The wingers in the squad are Maxine Abuga (AP),Carol nyanchoka (AP), Merisha Negea (AP),Sharlyne Akinyi (AP),Mulela Monica (AP),Arelia Jerusa (Ruffians ),Tracy Abigael (Ruffians),Mary wambui (Ngong),Faith vugusta (Ngong),Marleen Abuti (Sharks),Sylvia Anyango(Sharks ),Vela Ontiri (Sharks) and Josephine Wanjiru (Sharks)

In the centre there are Penina Mueni (Sharks),
Rose Kerubo(Ngong), Mary Njeri (Ngong), Achitsa Angel (AP),Florence Buchichi (AP),Agnes Mbone (AP),Faith Ngendo (Ruffians) and Khan Tracy (Winam)

The stand-offs are Diana Ommoso (AP), Milka Chitechi (AP) and Cynthia Chepkemoi (Ruffians)

Halfbacks,Vivian Muthoni(Ruffians), Siana komonya (Winam)
and Lovina Mijire( AP) while Props, Esther Monyagi (AP),Maria Gorreti (AP),Lawnsky lourine (Ruffians), Lavenda Anyango (Ruffians),Wise Maloba (Ruffians), Sharon Bosibori (AP), Sharon Otunga (Sharks), Kezia Oganda (Sharks) and Ivy Achieng (Sharks).

The hookers are, Nicole Jedi (AP),Alice Gathoni (AP)
and Susan Wangui (Ruffians) while the Second row will feature, Sophye Wabwire (AP),Doris Kimani (AP),Nicole Hawi (Ruffians), Claris Mutambi (AP) and Terry Ayesa(Sharks).
