All Blacks announce squad for RWC final against South Africa

All Blacks selectors the head coach Ian Foster, Jason Ryan and Joe Schmidt’s assistants, have named the team to play the final of the Rugby World Cup against the Springboks on Saturday 28 October at 10: p.m. in Paris

The changes in the team are, that Brodie Retallick resumes his quarter-final combination with Scott  Barrett while the most capped player Samuel Whitelock (152) who is going to make three World Cup deciders will be used from the bench.

Additional personnel change to the reserves bench with 52 test tighthead prop Nepo Laulala replacing Fletcher Newell.

The most experienced team to play the Rugby World Cup final features, Beauden Barrett at fullback and links wingers, Mark Tele’A and Will Jordan.

Richie Mo’unga the fly-half links scrum-half Aaron Smith with centres, Jordie Barrett and Rieko Loane continuing their partnership for the Springbok showdown.

All Blacks’ back row features Ardie Saves at number 8 joining blindside flanker Shannon Frizell and openside flanker Sam Cane who will lead the team in the finals .

Brodie Retallick and Scott Barrett make the second row.

Codie Taylor gets the nod at hooking packing down with loosehead prop Ethan De Groot and tighthead-prop Tyrell Lomax.

Samisoni Taukei’Aho , Tamaiti Williams , Nepo Laulala , Samuel Whitelock , Dalton Papali’I, Finlay Christie , Damian Mckenzie and Anton Lienert-Brown make strong and experienced bench.
