Kabras assistant coach Carlos Katywa has send a warm message to the national rugby team Kenya Simbas, ahead of the World Rugby Final Qualifying Tournament set for November 6 in Dubai.
Katywa, who together with head coach Jerome Muller led the sugar men to their second Kenya Cup trophy last season, said the Final Qualifying tournament poses a historic task for the Simbas who are chasing a maiden World Rugby appearance and insisted that they are behind the team.
Proud of the team
“I want to say good luck to the national team, and we are truly behind them. We wish them all the best and I hope they can make us proud as a country and take us to the World Cup. We are very proud of the whole team and the boys,” he said.
Former South African Rhodes Rugby coach also said the tournament poses a perfect opportunity for the players to display their talent and team spirit to the rugby world.
