Kakamega School will face Bungoma High School in the Western Region Schools Rugby 15s final set for Saturday morning at Chavakali School, following a pair of commanding semi-final performances.
Kakamega School booked their place in the final with a hard-fought 7-0 win over national and Western Region champions Vihiga High School. The tightly contested clash remained scoreless at the break before Kakamega broke the deadlock in the second half with a converted try. They held firm under sustained pressure from Vihiga to seal a statement victory and move within 40 minutes of a return to the nationals.
Bungoma High School, on the other hand, underlined their dominance with a convincing 21-0 win over Senende in the second semi-final. Their clinical display ensured they too remain just one match away from national qualification.

Attention now shifts to the third-place playoff where Vihiga High School will renew their rivalry with Senende in a repeat of the Vihiga County 15s final, which Vihiga won.
