Kenya Cup Champions Kabras RFC have made nine changes to their starting lineup for their clash against Impala RFC, slated for Saturday at the Kakamega Showground from 4:00 p.m.

Kenya 7s forward Kevin Wekesa earns his first start since last season’s Kenya Cup final against KCB Rugby. Wekesa, who has been impactful off the bench in his last two appearances, replaces Mike Okello in the second row and will partner Hillary Odhiambo.

In the front row, the coaches have opted for full rotation with Edward Mwaura, Teddy Akala, and Hillary Mwanjilwa making way for Ephraim Oduor, Eugene Sifuna, and Asuman Mugerwa, who all return to the starting lineup.

The back row also sees adjustments. Jeanson Misoga resumes his duties at eighth-man, with Patrick Sabatia returning to the flank alongside William Mwanji, as David Bunduki shifts to the bench.

In the half-backs, Roy Maruti returns at scrum-half, while Barry Robinson moves to fly-half. Eric Cantona shifts to fullback, a switch that sees Jackson Siketa drop to the bench.

With Griffin Chao unavailable, youngster Rayvon Ambale earns his first Kabras RFC start on the left wing. Mathias Osimbo is also back in the starting unit on the right wing after missing the away trip to Daystar.

In midfield, Jone Kubu makes way as Derrick Ashihundu returns to partner Walter Okoth in the centres.

Youngster Brian Juma has been named on the bench for the first time this season.
