The long wait is over, Kenya Cup rugby returns this Saturday, November 22, 2025, with six matches lined up across the country as the new season kicks off.
Defending champions Kabras Sugar begin their title defence at the Kakamega Showground where they host neighbours MMUST in the opening round.

The Sugarmen will be looking to lay down an early marker as they embark on their 12th campaign in the top flight.
Last season’s finalists Menengai Oilers will be at the Nakuru ASK Showground for their clash against newly promoted Daystar Falcons.
The Oilers, who have made deep playoff runs in recent seasons, will be targeting a strong start at home.

In Nairobi, KCB Rugby welcome returning side Impala RFC at the KCB Ruaraka Sports Club.
Ngong Racecourse will host the meeting between Nondescripts and Kisumu RFC as both sides look to begin the campaign on a positive note.
Kenyatta University will be the stage for the university derby as KU Blak Blad take on Strathmore Leos.
At the RFUEA Grounds, Kenya Harlequin face Nakuru RFC in a tie that has historically produced high-intensity performances.
