The 27th edition of the Safari 7s will feature eight women’s teams divided into two competitive pools, promising thrilling action from 10–12 October 2025 at Nyayo National Stadium, Nairobi.
Pool A brings together defending champions Costa Blanca Barbarians from Spain, who will be looking to retain their title after a strong debut in 2024. They’ll face the experienced Shogun Ladies, the young and energetic Kenya Cubs, and Mwamba Select.
Pool B looks equally tough, featuring home favourites Kenya Lionesses, who will be eyeing redemption after falling short in the last two finals. They are joined by regional rivals Uganda, who lifted the 2023 title, as well as Belgium and Tunisia.
Reigning champions Costa Blanca Barbarians will return from Spain to defend their crown after a memorable debut last year, where they defeated the Kenya Lionesses 24–10 in a thrilling final held at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos.

The Lionesses will be hoping to reclaim the title, having narrowly missed out in the past two editions losing to Uganda in the 2023 final and to the Barbarians in 2024.
