Last season, France (men) and Australia (women) were crowned HSBC SVNS 2024 Champions at the Grand Final in Madrid. France defeated Argentina 19-5 in a pulsating men’s final, while Fiji claimed bronze. In the women’s final, Australia overcame France 26-7 to clinch gold, with New Zealand securing bronze.
The promotion and relegation playoffs are also set to be confirmed. The bottom four teams in the men’s SVNS standings — Kenya, Ireland, Uruguay, and USA — will face off against the top four teams from the HSBC Sevens Challenger Series in a high-stakes playoff that will determine the lineup for the 2026 World Sevens Series.
