Kenya 7s ace Denis Abukuse has returned to the Menengai Oilers’ 23-man squad with head coach Gibson Weru making three changes to the starting squad ahead of their Kenya Cup clash against defending champions Kabras Sugar at the Nakuru ASK Showground.
In the front row, Francis Atiti replaces Destrious Ifedha at loosehead prop, while Kevin Mukoyani comes in for Celestine Mboi at hooker.
Mwikhali starts for Menengai Oilers
Former Kabras forward Vincent Mwikhali retains his position as the tighthead prop.
Wallace Onyango and Charles Osgood will partner in the second row, with another former Kabras player Fortune Aturo starting alongside Nelson Makokha as flankers.
Elkeans Musonye, who made a strong impact off the bench against KCB, earns a starting role at number eight, replacing Amos Obae, who moves to the bench.

Samson Onsomu and Samuel Mwaura will take charge of the half-back positions, setting the tempo for the game.
Captain Chrispine Shitundo will lead the team from outside center, partnering with Samuel Ovwamu in midfield.
The back three will feature Kenyan Internationals Beldad Ogeta on the blindside wing, Timothy Omela on the openside wing, and Abutwalib Wesonga at fullback.
