The Kenya Cup 2024/25 season kick-off date has been pushed backwards by a week, following changes in the Kenya Simbas-Uganda Elgon Cup date.
According to the memo sent to clubs by the Kenya Rugby Union CEO Thomas Odundo, Kenya Cup season will now commence on November 23 2024 and not November 16 as early announced.
Kenya Cup affected alone
The lower tier will however kick off on 16 as planned with the changes in the top tier meant to allow for a seamless alignment with the Elgon Cup dates, providing clubs with adequate preparation time.
