Enterprise Cup round of 16 pairings

The fixtures for the 2024 Enterprise Cup have been released, with the round of 16 matches set for December 14, 2024.

This year, the prestigious tournament will run alongside the 2024/2025 Kenya Cup season, adding excitement to the rugby calendar.

Enterprise Cup holders

Defending champions Kabras RFC, who have claimed three consecutive titles, will face Kisumu RFC in the opening round.

KCB Rugby, last year’s runners-up, will square off against Mwamba RFC, while Kenya Harlequin is set to play Strathmore Leos in another enticing match-up.

Nakuru RFC will take on Catholic Monks, as Menengai Oilers clash with Daystar Falcons. Meanwhile, MMUST will face Homeboyz, and Nondies are paired against Impala Saracens.

South Coast Pirates will battle Blak Blad in the remaining fixture. The quarters will be on February 8 while the semis will take place on March 8, the final will be played on 22 April.

The Enterprise Cup, which made its return in 2023, has been plagued by some teams giving walkovers. This year marks the first time since the 2019/20 season that the competition is being held alongside the Kenya Cup.

The 2019/20 season was halted before the semifinals due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Kabras RFC are aiming to defend their title after an impressive 32-20 victory over arch-rivals KCB in the 2023 final held at RFUEA Grounds, Nairobi.
