Nondies confirmed their place on top of group A after defeating KCB in the third round of day one Christie 7s action.
Pool A
Nondies and KCB would clash later in the evening, both teams with a perfect record from their first two encounters.
Nondies were quicker off the blocks, Salem Odoyo latching onto an offload from Nyaenya before showing a clean pair of heels to open their scoring account.
Moseti Nyaenya would score twice before Jacob Ojee grabbed a brace of his own to make it 17-14 as Nondies finished the day on top of the group.
Homeboyz confirmed their place in the final eight with a 33-0 wipeout of a winless Impala in the first match of the third round.
Christie 7s Pool B
Catholic Monks remained unbeaten at the end of business on day one, seeing off Kisumu 19-7 to sail into the quarters.
Kabras edged Nakuru 12-5 in another tight encounter, Hillary Salano hitting twice in both halfs with Nakuru scoring once in the second half to reach the quarters.

Strathmore Leos struck first, Stanslous Shikoli showing brute force to burge over the white wash for a 5-0 half time lead.
Leos would add two more tries in the second half, including an outrageous dummy by Gideon Makumi before Quins replied with a consolation try for a 17-5 full time score.
Blak Blad emerged victorious in a tightly contested University Derby, coming out on on top 7-5 against a stubborn Daystar Falcons in a largely balanced Group B clash.
Pool D
Mwamba started the clash against Oilers on a high, scoring on the corner through Eugine Omondi before Oiler struck twice to take the lead heading into the break.
Omondi would score Mwamba’s next try, the conversion sailing wide to leave matters at 14-10 in favour of Oilers.
MMUST sailed into the quarters with a 36-0 win over UOE, leaving the Eldoret based side without a win at the end of the day.
