Uganda’s journey in the Sevens Repechage ended with their elimination by South Africa in Monaco, dashing their hopes for an Olympic berth.
However, earlier this year, Uganda triumphed in the All Africa Rugby 7s with a perfect win record, and they aim to bring this form into the upcoming competition.
The team is determined to reclaim the Africa Men’s 7s title, which they last won in 2022, and secure their place in the World Cup as African champions.
