The Ireland 7s Men’s and Women’s Sevens squads for the upcoming Olympic Games in Paris have been officially named by Head Coaches James Topping and Allan Temple-Jones.

This announcement marks a milestone for the Ireland Sevens programme as the teams prepare for the Rugby Sevens tournament scheduled to take place at the Stade de France from July 24-30, 2024.

Harry McNulty, one of seven players set to become a double Olympian, will captain the Ireland Men’s team. Lucy Rock will lead the Ireland Women’s team as they gear up for their debut Olympic appearance in Paris.

The Ireland Men’s team, coming off an impressive HSBC SVNS Series season where they finished second overall, will once again compete on the sport’s biggest stage following their Olympic debut in Tokyo.
